A message dated May 10, 2005, was read stating the Senate has passed                                
CSHB 98(RLS) with the following amendment and it is transmitted                                     
for consideration:                                                                                  
                                                                                                    
              SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 98(FIN) am S                                     
     "An Act relating to the compensation of the governor, the                                      
     lieutenant governor, and certain public officials, officers, and                               
     employees not covered by collective bargaining agreements; and                                 
     providing for an effective date."                                                              
                                                                                                    
The message further stated that under Rule 43(b) of the Uniform                                     
Rules, engrossment had been waived and the following certified                                      
amendment was attached:

Page 1, line 5 through Page 1, line 9:                                                              
                                                                                                    
 Delete all material.
